Hacking Starfall >>> Anyone try this?

So I just came across this and it features (along with a few other things...):

* No healthwarning screen
* Region free GC games with video mode patch
* Region free Wii games
* Region free channels

Seems pretty cool, but I'm a bit confused about what "Region Free games" are? By using Starfall it lets you play games from EU, JP, USA? Bah... I haven't seen anyone talking about this yet, so I may be getting excited over nothing. Just not sure what this is!
