I've played it on PC, it's the ultimate Harvest Moon x Animal Crossing game. It has combat and fishing and farming and...never enough time in a day (both in game and IRL).

Yeah, it's great. Perfect fit for Switch, I'll re-buy.

It really is a fantastic experience. If you've played older Harvest Moon games (it feels like the Friends of Mineral Town or Harvest Moon DS), then you'll definitely enjoy Stardew Valley. It's everything that made those games great, brought into a modern and polished light. If you haven't played those and enjoy Stardew, I'd honestly recommend going back and giving them a shot. Harvest Moon DS is still one of my favourite games to pick up and play. A quaint portable experience; though I'm sure Stardew will soon become my go-to portable farming game lol

This game was a total impulse buy for me during the 2016 Steam Summer Sale. I literally just liked the pixel art and thought it looked cool, didn't even know it was popular! Worth every penny. Loved it! Not interested enough to rebuy on Switch, but I am definitely looking forward to the multiplayer on PC.

Have it on the xbone and barely have touch'd it. I am going to wait for the "multiplayer" update. Hope you guys realize it isn't traditional multiplayer. It is more like farmville multiplayer. From what they have said, you get to grant up to 4 friends exe to share your farm and they can take care of it when your offline and online.

I've never snapped this up on PC because I have this phobic realization of wasting my money on Harvest Moon. I never could in 3 versions of that game get anything to grow at all or more than a season which ended up in stupid failure. The fact that first post says terraria, animal crossing, and even farmville though makes me wonder if I'd probably handle it better.'

And this is from someone happy to pay the Switch tax. I get that little chips costs more than big flat discs and I accept it when it's $5-10 more. I just use amazon prime to diffuse 20% off the top.
