Hacking SSBB

when i first burned SSBB NTSC Wiizard to a Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x and burned at 2.4x, with manual layer break with imgburn. (it was my first iso and changed it to NTSC when i didnt have to, so that might have messed it up.) i put it in my wii and it said Unable to Read Disc

So im downloading a brand new iso untouched and i was wondering if using CloneCD will do any difference?

Isn't the the Wiizard release untouched? Also if i remember correctly i had a bad burn with IMGBurn, but Blindwrite worked for me.

ya but on my first iso, i use regionfrii on it to change it to NTSC when i didnt have to, so i think that messed it up or i did something wrong

why do i have to change brands? verbatim are the best but whats the difference with the 2.4x and the 8x?

I used the same verbatim dvd+r dl 2.4x; burned at 2.4x with imgburn (manual layer break added) a clean iso of ssbb and it works.

According to the BBB a bad one. Also a google search will quickly reveal numerous complaints against them.
