Hardware SSBB stopped running

Ok so as usual i have a fake SSBB. Today i popped in brawl in hopes of kicking ass online after months of not playing, and it did the unable to read thing. I played the game a night before prior to the event of the read failure. It worked fine last night, but failed todday D: Any ways to fix this?

Check that the disk is not damaged, clean it? That'd be the first thing I do.

Otherwise could be your wii laser?
