Hacking SSBB PAL on DVD9

Hello dudes,
I think I tried a lot and read tons of threads and til today I got no success to play SSBB PAL.

I got the SSBB DVD9 PAL version and burned on all the speed I can from min to max on several discs (Verbatim, memorex...)

I used alcohol, and IMGBURN, setting as well the layer break.

I removed the update with wiibrickblocker (the DL version).

I'm using a pioneer 212.

But every burn that I put in my wii is not recognized as wii disc.

What am I doing wrong ? Is there a step that I'm missing or doing wrong ?

please any of you that can contribute on this is very welcome....

Why are you removing the update? It's the one that adds dual layer support IIRC.

Burn at 2.4x, NEVER use Memorex. Burn the iso WITH the update. You're on PAL, nothing can happen and Brawl needs it.

hmmm so you are saying that patching the update makes the disc not recognized.....

I'll try later on an if is in that way I'll owe you a beer and in the while I throw my stupid head on the wall...

If you have updated the system menu to 3.3, then patching any game to remove an udpate will not work anymore, that's what Nintendo fixed. Besides, the game won't run WITHOUT the update anyways...install the update, or just burn the disc as is, and enjoy
