Hacking SSBB + old Chip WiiFree

Hello everyone and sorry for my terrible english.
I'm trying to load a SSBB backup on an old WiiFree chip (last versione)

I've done the patch on main.dol for the 001 drive check error + patch on _update.inf with wiiupdate patcher 0.2

Now the game start but after the "now loading black screen" it give to me a white screen succeded by a green text ( An error has occurred. Press eject button ..etc etc )
I've tried to write the disk with reccomended layerbreak and also without it on another disk
Support used : Memorex +R DL

Someone has bypassed this error or have load the game on a Wifree chip ??
I don't know what to do now

From my understanding, the green error on DL discs means you have to layer-break it or something.

I too am having this error, but only with the NTSC version...

I tried to layerbreak with reccomended code 2084960 and it still don't work and I also tried to use the default settings of imgburn ( without user defined layerbreak ). I just wasted 2 DL DVD.
This is impossibile

Wii Free as in Wii Free easy connect? If so it is simly a PIC12f629. Reflash it with a new modchip hex that supports the 001 error and possibly DL and you're all set

Unfortunately I can not

I don't have wii free easy connect nor a programmer to flash my chip at the moment.

So the problem is this chip (Wiifree) that can't load DL disk ?

wiifree development ended long ago. Yaosm is going to be your best bet so get your chip reprogrammed. My yaosm 2.0rc3 runs ssbb no problem with verbatim dvd+dl @ 8x no layer break.

I think this is a Wiifree problem that can't load DL disk.
Can someone confirm this ?

That probably also had the protection removed, so that's why it's working now

No wait , it is not a protection issue.
Actually my DVD DL version load but give me after the "now loading" screen a Green Text ( An error has occurred. Press eject button ..etc etc )
I think this is a Wiifree problem that can't load DL disk ... or maybe this is only my Disk fault ( Memorex +R DL ) ... if I find a Verbatim I would try with it.

I get white text of the same error occuring using same media on the same chip. is there a PPF patch for this game for the drive check or is it just my wiifree?

WiiFree does not support DL games.
Heck, yaosm didn't even support it until 3.0 and wiifree is way before.
It's time to upgrade, or just buy SSBB. It's the only game that'll be DL for a looong time.

You can upgrade your chip to yaosm, you need a programmer then.
