Should ProjectM Full Set and Wifi-Safe versions share same GameID or have different GameIDs?

SET GCTPATH=RSBE01.gct

Right in the root, where I have a copy of it... this isn't making a whole lot of sense

Yeah, honestly still not sure why I'm getting the errors because I have no reason to believe anything is automatically being run as administrator and as you can see...

...mine is laid out exactly the same way, same error as the one I shared before.

I'd be tempted to ask for someone to share their compiled .iso (privately of course) but that's quite a bit of bandwidth to upload somewhere and I'm also not sure how anyone feels about that. I'm stumped
Two things, are you certain the folder inside project m is called pf and second, does a yes/no box appear when you try to run the batch?

Quite so.

And no, it doesn't, just pops right to the initial "Press any key to continue..." prompt once I open it up. I understand that would be indicative of the batch file being run as an admin, I've checked all the typical random errors that would be encountered in situations like these... it might seem hard to believe but I'm not a total blithering idiot lol (and I don't mean that in an accusatory way, either)

So yeah, like I said I'm totally stumped

well i'm in the process of editing my own bat script that will be posted somewhere else and here and it will use the original folder structure used for compiling 2.5 brawlmods/projectm with the gct inside projectm

B6B0, matches what's in the batch file too. We all downloaded the same source files man, there shouldn't be a difference in the slightest... I even redownloaded both packages just to be sure. I'll try doing that one more time but I'm not expecting too much

EDIT: I downloaded the Homebrew (Full Set) as was stated in the original post with the 3.0 batch file link, in case anyone thinks that was the problem. I'm redownloading that for a second time as well

What windows version do you have? You should try right clicking the zip files you downloaded and going to properties to unblock them before you unzip them to the folder. I use windows 7 and ran the batch file as an administrator(though I heard ur not supposed to) and it worked fine for me. What unzipping tool are you using? Also your Super Smash Bros Brawl Iso might be corrupt.

My folder with all the files ready except for the Super Smash Bros Brawl ISO was 638,303,545 bytes. And 684 Files, 87 Folders. See if that is the same for you.

All precisely those for me as well. I unblocked them before unzipping (using 7zip on Windows 7) and after forgetting to put the .iso in the folder when I did it initially it seemed like my error was slightly different before autoclosing... So I put the iso in the folder aaaaaaaand...

...still nothing. Unreal lol

Well I tested some stuff and got mine to reproduce your error screen. I got the same error screen when I tried to run the bat without the game iso in the folder, it says" The system cannot find the path specified.projectm\pf\info\portrite\InfFace131.brres" etc etc.

So I am pretty sure that the reason you are getting this error is because the batch file is not recognizing your super smash bros iso. You might have a messed up one or something. Have you tried running it with dolphin emulator?

Also if you delete the project m folder you get a different error so it doesn't have anything to do with the system not finding the projectm/pf/info/portrite/InfFace131.brres and all the other files. I got the same error with the files being there. Your problem has to do with your iso not being recognized by the batch file for some reason(courrupted?)

I've done this with 2.6b before and not had this issue but I think I may have gotten another copy of the .iso at some point between then and now... this one boots up in Dolphin just fine but it's worth a shot.

try moving the whole script folder from your downloads folder to somewhere like the root of your drive wit does have syntax errors with spaces and it's copy command

if everyone will hold off for 2 days I will have a 3.0 script uploaded to zippy share roughly Thursday Evening/Night. I uploaded my own pack to a thread on REMOVED BY ADMIN and will be post my 3.0 script there and I shall post it here too

got it going yet?

I'll be damned... trying a different .iso now (I tried a couple different ones before) and it seems to be building. The filesize seemed strange to me for an NTSC copy (it's not one of those DVD5 ones with only multiplayer at least) but I'll test it in a bit and if not hopefully it'll be better source material that I need. Thanks for the multiple sanity checks and identifying the problem, gentlemen!

For everyone still having trouble: I have access to really fast upload speeds if those with errors are really desperate enough to want to download the whole 3.0 iso. Would you guys want that or just continued tech support on the bat because it's proven to be working?

uploaded backups are not allowed on gbatemp

The bat works fine and there is already an iso uploaded on blackcats. If anything if people want to spread Project M, one should upload it to a certain bay.

I got it last night but didn't get the chance to test it until today. Works fine now, somehow my .iso became an issue even after it being one of the first things I ruled out... weird stuff. Thanks for all the help regardless guys, I should've just gave that a try from the get go

Sorry for my slow replies, I run a VPN at my college so I can torrent in peace and gbatemp blocks the IP.
here is a screenshot:

The folder structure for projectm should not be changed, make sure that it is
projectm->pf

and inside pf is the fighter folder, info folder, info2 folder etc
Tried it again. Still no good. I've tried searching for it on my favorite Swedish torrent site, but no luck.

Yeah that error message throws you off. If I knew how to change it on the bat, I would. It says the projectm folder files are missing when the ISO is not there or unrecognizable. It should just state:ISO missing or unreadable.

You have to give a description of the error.
