Gaming SSBB Freezing On Single Player

Alright I'm using CFG Loader (newest version) and loading from an external hard drive.
I've had SSBB since the day I hacked my Wii, I actually used my original SSBB CD to hack it.
Since the day I made a backup from the CD it's never let me play single player Story, Classic or All Star mode; it just freezes during play or afterwards the screen goes black and doesn't come back on.
Everything else works fine.
As an added note: for a while I did use texture hacks but I already deleted the files and turned off the Ocarina cheats.
What could be the problem?

i has this problem to. to fix it will you need to remove any cios amd homebrew channel. thats worked for me =)

did you remove the privte folder in the sd card used when you hacked it with ssbb because it still reading it when you play it because you used the exploit for the disc try that it worked for me

i removed the super smash bros folder on the sdcard after. but if you dont need any svae data on your sdcrad can you remove the private folder and the Wii will create an new one XD
