ROM Hack Spoof System Title Version?

With the recent changes to the eShop requiring a newer version to be installed; we can not longer use it on non-GW firmware. The reason the eShop seems to hang is the system version, so how could I patch this? I attempted to do this myself, but failed.

There is currently no way to spoof eshop on pre-9.3 firmware. There is a eshop spoof that is being worked on though. Also this should be in the "Hacking & Homebrew" section.
