I know that there is a way to spoof firmware with NTR cfw on N3DS, but as far as I can tell you can't have both the gateway launcher and the NTR launcher on the same SD so I was wondering if there was a way to spoof the firmware in gateway mode so I can use apps like pokebank and enter the eshop and what not.

Gateway spoofs the firmware by default, what you're implying I assume is e-Shop Spoof.
You can actually have both launcher.dat and the NTR.bin on the same SD card, but you can't enter NTR-CFW in Gateway mode, if you have a legit pokemon, and you don't have emuNAND installed then you can enter NTR-CFW > use Pokebank > exit NTR-CFW > Enter Gateway mode, if you do have emuNAND installed, and you want to use e-Shop stuff in emuNAND mode, then you can't, or at least I don't know of a way of doing that.
