I found the Splatfest shirt textures in the game files, which means that they're staying. :)

Because I don't think they were in the game files before, or at least not in the same directory.

Wait, seriously? That's interesting......would you happen to know how the game selects a texture to paste on the shirt? If so, we might be able to find out a way to paste custom textures onto it.

Those might be for the amiibo plaza, since everyone wears Splatfest Tees there. They included a bunch of Splatfest files that were normally loaded over the network from a web server for the new amiibo.
 
I think that with a little of experience in Wii U mods we can do a custom splatfest no? (it will be ban)
We know how to load Splatfest news song, how to get night mode, and I saw a pastebin with a lot of adresses info (and splatfest adresses, rank [0-99], level [principant, amateur, King...]) We only need a Splatoon dump while a Splatfest and search the file that contains info of teams, the date... I supose this is in the game but maybe all this options are in the ""cloud"" and Nintendo activate or desactivate it, please correct me if im wrong in something

I think they are invisible like lab outfit, octoling googles... Because when I used the get all clothes and with sub abilities Op, I get the Splatfest T-Shirt, and I have it in inventory in splatfest time and normal time (the T-Shirt is black with a symbol)
 
If we can find a way to manually set a hypothetic variable to set the game into Splatfest mode and use an exploit and/or SD card to set up the custom textures and such(along with the musicRandomizer, naturally) we could basically start hosting our own Splatfests :)

the bad news is that with so many abnormal variables detection/bans is almost guaranteed...

Wouldn't it connect to a different server (A non-Nintendo hosted server.)

Um....i was under the impression that all matches go to Nintendo's server regardless of whatever mods are running at the time...... correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure if we were to host the whole thing on a custom server we would basically have to attempt to simulate how the online engine works, and that would be a whole other ballpark in itself...

We are working on custom splatfest internally for quite some time, and anything other than patching the fes resource server URL to a local host and faking the boss notice may not even be needed if we're using unique ids for evey fes.

Another question would be that this would be the perfect opportunity for Nintendo to just ban all people involved, but I guess that we can't say that till we actually try it.

The files you can find in static are purely for the sclive amiibo plaza, since that basically resembles the last splatfest.

Is the Wii U able to connect to your custom server?
 
Sorry about going off topic here, but I still can't get Splathax to work. I've a done of research and I have no clue what's going on......is Splathax compatible with Windows 10?

That's the one i'm using.........i disabled all my antivirus stuff, i set static ips, they're both connected to the same network....somebody please help me, i don't know what im doing wrong :cry:

Did you check your Windoes-Firewall whether or not it has access and did you unblock the zipfile it came in?
 
Hi! Someone knows how to solve my problem?
I did some changes in vol/content/Pack/Static and I packed with SARCPack of NWPlayer123 but this gave me a .sarc file and i think I have to put it in cafiine in .pack format, so if I delete .sarc and i change it for .pack, it will work? Or I need to do something more, in this chase what?
