There is lag indeed. I played yesterday and while most of the matches didn't have it some did, i.e, I'd spray paint but it'd remain clean for some reason (lag).

I can play it, my upload limit is at 30kb/s. There's only lag when most of the players have Japanese characters on their names, usually. ><

try playing online with more then one wii u on the same connection. its not playable unless your upload is more then 1mbit. the game just drops you.
