I'm perfectly fine with waiting patiently too. I just haven't seen any updates. When I tried to view commits though I couldn't.

Edit: it looks like there was a commit as recent as 3 days ago on Leannys git so I guess it is still being worked on. Still only my assumption.

SplatHeX can be run by any Windows system, where Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is installed. On Linux, get wine via your distro's package method. On Mac, use https://brew.sh/.

Has the new amiibo gear been added yet? Asking because installing new versions of splathex is a bit of a pain coz my computer throws a tantrum (and also curious if milky white eminence jacket will join in w/ the amiibos :::::^0 )

even if you did put the milky jacket in you need the dlc patch in order for the game to not make it hidden from you when you start it up
and it only came with the codes

i was able to implement it no problem in the EU version of splatoon 2 tho :^0 and i know they don’t have access either. really the only problem w/ it in the european ver is that in the gear selection menu, it shows up as the beginner’s shirt but all things considered, it never got me banned :^ i know i been whining abt it for awhile but even if it’s a bad idea, it would still be gr8 to see the milky eminence jacket get put back in

Mew is on vacation and I am quite busy, so updates rn are a bit slow. I will add support for the new gear + weapons today and then focus on the OE editor. Hopefully it can finally be released this month

I am currently learning c# I’m not great but I can do basic console and forms stuff. I would love to help if you have the patience for a newb!

if you never saw it in the gear menu then the game got rid of it because it checked the dlc at the start and destroyed it
when an earlier version of splathex allowed the gear i too put it in my inventory, but it got removed because the game knew i didn't have the patch
if it's not there period and all you see is another piece of gear, it's hidden, end of story

I think I may speak for everyone when I say that the work you and everyone else has put in on SplatHeX is top notch and does not go unappreciated. I for one am more than happy to wait patiently knowing that it's still being worked on. You will never hear me complaining about dates and timeframes and such as I know what a hassle all this can be.

i don’t have very many photos but eh, here’s one and even if it showed up to everyone else as the beginners shirt, as long as it showed up to me as the jacket it was a-ok

you can edit your save to put in the golden toothpick, splathex can decrypt the save so long as you know the gear's id which was easy since i'd unlocked the other octo expansion hats and it just so happened to increment from those

it even counts for skipping the boss because there's no glow in the subway anymore for me

and 5 dlcs, most of which are unreleased to anywhere outside japan. if only we could hack them in because exclusivity makes us mad, i'd have paid for it but it doesn't even work on a non-japanese game so screw it

it isn't just a visual beginners shirt with the jacket, it IS the beginner's shirt
if you are wearing the jacket everyone will see the jacket including you it's as simple as that

You sound like you're not that old. Probably younger than 14.
