ROM Hack WIP SplatHeX A Splatoon Save Editor

What are the options that are too risky?
And which are the safest options?

I've been editing my chunks rather often for the last month I can say that's safe but I haven't tested anything else.

i use this tool often to edit my chunks (last time was yesterday) and no ban so far

i don't think nintendo ban chunks editing cuz you can get them while ur not connected to internet

its a shame. The save editor worked fine and I'm still not banned with max money, all gear unlocked, and max ability chunks

Pretty dumb to remove the tool from download completely. What a way to give the first game some more life. I recently booted it back up, I had lost my original data years ago, I'd really like to get it back - but no tool. Can somebody mirror it?

Yup, and while it did end up getting me banned from Splatoon 2 on my hacked Switch due to my own negligence, it was fun to play around with, I just miss the prospect of one day being able to play around with Octo Expansion Content... damn shame really.

I JUST got a Switch because of Animal Crossing and all I need is a noob explanation how to get ability chunks (everything else I won't tamper with). If anybody can help me out, I'll be super grateful. I have the tool (a .exe so I'll need a Windows virtualisation tool on my mac but I'm more worried none of it works at this point?).

Have been using this without any issues for several weeks now, it works great. I was even able to edit my sea snails before reading that apparently gets you banned.

Does anyone know the max number of ability chunks per ability? I have been setting them to 99 but I'm wondering if we could do more?

I came here due to my switch overheating again and I lost all my files from my perivous games in English and Japanese. So I lost everything from my files. So I had to start all over. So I’ve been looking for a hack to where I can least get my chunks back so I can start playing normally again. Has her in anything else that got people banned? Just want edit my ability chunks

I'm sorry to hear that, I know how it feels to loose all that progress, but I'm sorry to say this save editor has been discontinued, and likely as far as I know, no longer has support for current versions of the game.

Also I HIGHLY wouldn't recommend hacking your online saves, and that's even if go trough all the trouble of formatting your system, just to be able to downgrade to a copy of Splatoon 2 that works with the older version of this editor, especially if you plan on playing Online, BECAUSE you WILL at the very least get banned from Splatoon 2 exclusively, if they don't decide to just ban you entirely from NSO, I've had the former happen on another Switch Unit, so trust me on this, because it isn't worth the trouble of loosing it all over again, or worse.

Just try to take the loss, and try your best to make something out of it. I know it really isn't ideal, but I'm sorry. there just isn't a easy way to fix this situation. I wish I could've helped your situation more.

So, it seems from reading above that editing chunks and food tickets (yes drinks too) doesn't get you banned, anyone know if gold is still editable?
And possibly your inner agent (the secret boss at the end of the Octo Expansion)

Any ban yet, I'm tempted, but as of now, I wont, until I get confirmation nothing has happened
