Basically you name yourself or your animals the item id and you will get it every time a npc mentions the name.

treaure chest: [166] sells for 5k
Legend Fish: [163] sells for 5k (7.5k if fishing is maxed)
Iridium Sprinkler: [645]
stardrop (stamina) : [434]

Tested and working on the switch version.

There's a guy in the bar that will keep saying your name.

You can also name your Chickens instead of yourself and get the items albeit a slower pace (you get to make your name anything you want though).

Can't get weapons to work because they use the same id as items.

Dont spawn more than two items on the chickens otherwise the game will crash. Ex: Chicken name: [166] [163] will spawn you both the treasure chest and the legend fish.

Some items will crash the game immediately. Just watch out for that.

Just out of interest, why would ANYONE want to do this?
Doing this, you'll keep playing for a few hours then never touch the game again. Accomplishment and progression is what defines games like Stardew.
It's up to the user, the information is here for people who wants to break the game or mess around.

There is also a certain joy to be found in messing around on alternate file slots though. Reminds me of the Winter Fishing glitch in Harvest Moon DS.

I wouldn't want to do this, it would irk me all the time if my name was [645] or something. And, like there was said before, it ruins the game for the most part. Interesting find nonetheless!

It is more of a thing to do when bored and want to see how fast you can get through the game
