Ahh, I get it, I was thinking that it was a problem with the CFW it self and not the exploit method... One more motive in my list to why not move to A9lh yet...
Anyway, sorry I couldn't help.
lol it's fine, tbh I love A9LH and using sysNAND as the default NAND, basically I have native and perfect boot time with CFW running, for emuNAND users, I guess it could be better, but well, you get perfect boot time and rate. :P

Sorry but i might ask a dumb question.
How can i have reiNand CFW booted automatically after i turn on my n3ds ?
Check out MenuHax or ARM9LoaderHax, first is easier, second is the very best so far.

@Rosselman, little late to the party:

Unfortunately I (A9LH) user attempted this but to no avail. GBA games still would not save. My only work around is to play off sysNAND and hold start when exiting GBA game to reboot back to sysNAND to preserve save. I know about the boot directly to sysNAND mod, but that defeats the purpose of ReiNand being a emuNAND focused FW.

Hello,

Just thought i'd report on my experience with boot times for Arm9 sysnand vs emunand. Like others, I had a typical 15 sec boot for both emunand and sysnand (large capacity card)

Funnily enough I was able to decrease my boot time by 3 secs but on my sysnand only, so now boot time is only 12 sec but the decrease in boot time is not due to moving to sysnand alone, the increase in boot seems to be due to having removed my emunand and re-partitioning my memory card.

So I guess what I am saying, if you are after a decrease in boot time, remove your emunand with a reparation, reformat of your mem card and move to sysnand. Its the only thing that made a significant difference for me :)

Out of curiosity are you using a N3ds or an O3ds

Why is everyone so obessed with boot times? We're talking about +/- 10 seconds here. Also, are you people turning off your 3DS every time you stop playing? I have to boot it maybe 2 times a week at max, so I could save myself 80 seconds a month. So if you count the time to switch from menuhax and emunand to a9lh and sysnand, you'll probably need a year to reach the break even.

I always turn my 3DS off when not playing / Spot- or HomePassing. :P

im not talking in speed i speak in write & read ratio i heard that more than 32gb on 3ds isnt worth cause the performance drops

Not really wanting to debate what some would consider a myth, yes there are probably bottle neck issues involved with the internal readers of the various 3ds models, however it has been shown by many members time and time again that some (not all) larger cards perform just as well as smaller cards

I believe the word Latency had been banded around lately

I haven't seen any performance drop at all, and I use them all 32gb 64gb and 128gb. They're all Samsung Evo sd cards too. Love that brand lol.

So even the above 100GB bug in BBM is gone now? Also, what about 256GB cards?

It is not really a bug, there are work around's, just place a folder on you card and fill it with files (temporary if you like) games, video, photos whatever and then there is no bug

I have no experience with 200gb or larger cards sorry
