"We are looking to provide two weeks of holidays to workers to alleviate the electricity consumption."

"As well as shutting down premises during the summer months, the company is also considering changing its working hours."

"We are likely to bring the work hours forward to cut electricity usage on a day-to-day basis as well." [/p]

Not sure if I like it or hate it.

You know that psn will most likely still be up during this "holiday"? The servers don't use that much electricity compared to their manufacturing counterparts.

not really considering most warehouses have a backstock of product of about 2-3 weeks worth

My theory is that they don't have much profits after Hotz V. SCEA, so they have to minimize production of products, much to there employee's enjoyment. :S

Are you serious, or just making a bad joke?

Anyway... my only question is, will the workers not then use more electricity at home on these days off? How much of a difference would this actually make?
