I mean motion control on ps3... i am sorry but it is just a blacked out polished wii mote, say what you will. only difference it came out later so it has better sensors, plus it uses camera instead of sensor on the wiimote. Work around. Motion sensors in phones and mobile devices is just standard these days, don't care for it much tho.
i bought vita cause i like the hardware, and i am sure to get some games for it, i am not an old guy, but my hands aren't that huge as to reach the whole touchscreen while holding the vita normally with both hands playing, at least some integration to control menu with buttons would be nice.
Transferring stuff to vita is just crap with the content manager, you HAVE to put everything in folders you specify and can't get anything from elsewhere on your pc, also it requires internet to transfer ANYTHING, unless you use workarounds (opencma)
and i don't hate ps3/vita, i hate the way sony forces stuff onto end users, the store got a little better, but it isn't exactly pleasant to go through the stuff in there, any deals you need the Plus thing... most things are overpriced greatly, and the 10% cheaper than retail games online campaign doesn't seem to have any results, as in pretty much all games were cheaper to buy retail than on the ps store.
I do not want sony to allow me to play snes games on vita natively, if they would just allow homebrew i'd be happy as a rainbow. considering how "friendly" they were about letting people run own stuff on ps3, until they took second OS option away, yeah i was quite happy.
sony needs to move on with the times as in
http://gizmodo.com/5...owers-over-sony , i bought the vita cause of hardware, but using it isn't unpleasant, though i'd much rather massage my phone as it is just a much simpler and easier to use... much more customizeable too.
Sony had ADs in UK not long ago within the lines of "i'd never touch a game on phone after trying this". Just seemed humorous, as i thought they were going more after the gaming crowd, not people who want to play solitaire and drawsomething... thats why i said i gone back to my PSP, i could play all the emulators on my phone, but no physical buttons makes it really lacking, can't do any of it on the vita...
i guess i have extraordinary needs and requests, wanting to use my vita fully, being used to having a laptop and doing anything i want on it and expecting something at least remotely similar on my 200£ gaming device. Thing is i had a wii, hacked it could play all videos i wanted, do pretty much what i wanted with it, i played downloaded copies of games, but if i liked them i did buy a copy of it at the store (mario, zelda the good ones obviously) rest of them simply deleted and forgot about... i don't expect this much freedom from vita, but they could at least allow some freedom to homebrew... after all android is mostly open platform and i don't see people complaining of piracy there everywhere i turn, stuff is sold at prices which can be seen to most as fair, so they pay the money. Most people who pirate games wouldn't buy them anyway, it just seems like a scapegoat for headlines "we lost XXmillion due to piracy this year!"
However, if piracy can delay someone from getting the game for a long enough time, they may just buy it. Here's a scenario I remember. Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story came out with some pretty hefty AP on it. I had a R4 at the time so I was like "Well shit." However I was never too fond of the other Mario and Luigi RPGs so I could wait the two weeks or so it took for a proper R4 crack. But other people on the release thread went "I've waited for this game for too long, I'm just gonna buy it." That's mission accomplished. Or even just making piracy the least favorable option, by making access to the game obnoxious or features limited, so that people will eventually go to a retail version.
People like this are just as*h*les, if they can afford the games they should buy them, most of people i know who play pirated games go more within the lines "shiiiiit that game is half my pay check flash card is just few bucks and i can play all the games" thus not paying for them... Though yes a lot of people don't seem to get that without game sales, actual developers CANNOT MAKE GAMES. Some just make crap games, but you get the idea.
