If you want to validate twatter lunatics and give them the power to dictate your hobby, then continue buying and using Playstation products.

Otherwise, #boycottplaystation and get in touch with your favorite developers and let them know which system you will buy their games on in future.

According to the Urban Dictionary (reliable really):
What the social media platform Twitter should be actually named. A mass group of Twats talking shite endlessly and thinking of themselves as modern-day Aristotles.
In case anyone was wondering about that.

Anyway, I only play on PC, Nintendo Consoles (Switch and Wii U really), and a PS3. I don't really care about Sony since the PS4 either has games that I don't care about, or game that are already on the Switch or on PC.

I will move to other platform as soon as 2 requirements are met:
1. be powerful to keep with the devs demands
2. have good japanese games

so far sony is the only one that does that, even with all this madness going on.
if the nextbox gets the jap support sony is getting then I'll go there. and according to reports, microsoft is building it with input from japanese devs, so that is possible.
if nintendo steps up his hardware game then I'll think about going back to them, the memetic nature of their hardware still bothers me. don't know how likely this is but I'm not holding my breath at all.

Yea, I bought a PS4 for the Japanese games, but now it looks like Playstation is not the platform for them.
I hope the next Xbox does better on games cos I really liked the Xbox One besides its lack of games to play on it.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
