Hacking Sonic X Shadow Generations Switch to PC Save Conversion?

I played Sonic Generations on Switch (not Shadow Generations yet) for a bit, but I'd like to move over to PC. I did the typical save extraction and attempted to replace the save file created on PC with the one I extracted from Switch, but Sonic Generations on PC (as part of Sonic X Shadow Generations and not the original Sonic Generations) doesn't recognize the save. Here's what happened:

1. I used JKSV to get my Sonic X Shadow Generations save file from Switch (I haven't played Shadow so there was no Shadow save in this)
2. I found the save file titled "gene_NX" from the Switch and renamed it to "gene_PC.sav" to replace the PC save
3. There is also a "systemdata" file but this is likely related to the game settings. I've also tried moving this to PC alongside the "gene_NX" file but it makes no difference.

Has anyone been able to convert a Switch save to PC successfully? Does anyone have the knowhow to do so? Any help is appreciated!

I would understand converting save data like persona 5 royal, but sonic generation is like a 5-6 hour game

by the time someone made a save converter for this game, you would’ve already completed it

It's good to have for when you want to take your PC save on the go. This is why I began playing on the Switch as I didn't have access to my PC but now that I do I'd like to play it there. If a time comes where I don't have access to it again it's nice to be able to go back and forth as necessary. It's a cost effective handheld PC alternative if you have a modded switch.

Sonic generations alone can be 20+ hours alone when going for 100% which I am and have made good progress on so far.

Unlikely, as far as I know it was made for the older Generations, which isn't the same as the new Generations

It would also likely change files that can't be changed by Atmosphere's LayeredFS, like some Frontiers mods cannot work on Switch due to the same reason
