Also, my favourite thing about the 3DS version.
They did one minor change to the story, Sonic arrives at his surprise party early, and so does Time Eater.
You know what that means? None of his friends show up at all! Talk about cutting corners!
Yeah, it also makes the last boss more fun since they aren't there giving you "tips"

Well it beats the piece of shit games like Adventure, Adventure 2, Heroes, STH 360, Shadow the Hedgehog etc.

Still they could have easily done something a lot better, gone for a more retro approch. I loved the footage of the old levels but this game is yet another "press one direction and jump a lot". Sonic 1-3. Knuckles & CD were so much more than that.

Adventure and Adventure 2 was AMAZING back in the day.

Adventure was AMAZING back in the day and Adventure 2 still is!
Corrected!

Generations on PC is an amazing game and imo one of the best plattformers this gen. Similar to Colors it is what Unleashed always wanted to be... Also it looks gorgeous :D

The 3DS version is really good if you take it for what it is: Sonic Rush 4. Imo I always see the Sonic Rush series (Dimps-games) as different kind of Sonic-games and like I said I enjoy them for what they are. If you are more into the older kind of Sonic games I think you would enjoy Sonic 4 more, since that game had a better bland of plattforming and speed.

Imo PC>3DS on this one.

Really? In hindsight, Adventure was ok,and I absolutely LOVED Adventure 2 (poor voice acting, graphics, and elementary level bugs aside). Believe it or not, I also thought Sonic Heroes was ok and unlike most, I really liked Shadow the Hedgehog (partly because, unlike the adventure games, those were the first mostly "bug free" 3d sonic games). Haven't played Sonic NextGen, so I can't really judge that.

I would say its worth 10-15$ if you liked the ds sonics, but not full price to go along with pip.
29.99$ at best for this retail game. 14.99$ on eShop at max. But I would like to remind that it's really fun to master level try to beat your score. I spent 20 hours on it. My game shop would give my 15$ back for it, but I am keeping it.

I have the game, it was an xmas present, and I've enjoyed it. I was just saying if I had bought it myself, I would have paid about 15$ for it.
