Hacking Sonic All Star Racing Problem

I have a strange problem with Sonic All Star Racing.

I have cios38 rev 17 & Neogamma r9 installed and it lets me load up the game fine.

However after choosing a racer and track it starts to load and then I get

"Disc Error

Disc cannot be read. Refer to operations manual"


I have burned a couple of copies and they all stop at the same point, load the game fine but then error when loading the race

Is there a certain ios i need to have installed ?

Thanks for any feedback as my son is driving me demented to get this working.

what speed are you burning your games at? try 2x or 4x... althought I've never had problems burning a game at max speed, others have, and burning the game at a lower speed usually resolved the problem
