Hacking Some Questions From A Noob.

OK! So, I just found out about Wiigators wonderful backup program.

I've installed the CIOS thing and successfully booted a (non backup) disc with the back up loader app.

I've got a few questions which kinda pertain to that.

I have an ISO file, but all I have to burn it with is a Mac. My windows PC's burner crapped out on me. As long as its a DVD burner, and ISO burning program, should it matter what computer I use to burn it with?

I only have DVD+R's. I heard something about a "bitsetting" what is this? Should I just burn it at 8x like always?

I'd really like to use the WadManager app, but it only comes as a ".dol" file. I notice that when it doesn't come in a folder with "icon" and "meta" my Homebrew channel won't read it. Is there any way I could make my own "icon" and "meta" for it to read? Or should I just try throwing it into a folder (that never occurred to me until right now hahah)

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm going to try burning my ISO with the Mac and see what happens. The worst I could come up with is a crap disc, right?

make sure you rename the .dol file to boot.dol....
as per mac bitsetting I'll have to ad that to my guide...

I don't have the new OSX and Bootcamp isn't free anymore. It doesn't come as a separate install, but rather WITH the new OSX

hmm well that just sucks...
look into vmware they have a free version I believe...
