Gaming Some help in KH DDD

Well, I was playing KH and I beat the first group of worlds with Riku (Prankster Paradise, The Grid, and the Nore Dame)but I still had to finish PP with Sora I just sent Riku to Traverse Town so I could use the shop. However after I finished PP I had to return to Traverse Town for a story segment. So I returned to Traverse Town and now it would seem that while Sora is in the segment, Riku is not. Can anyone tell me how to leave the world so I can do Riku's part of the segment? Thanks
