Hello, i have a problem with my USB Loader GX, when i run some games it goes to black and i have to restart the wii for it to work again, how do i fix it?

Howdy,
Before you start reformatting, what game(s) isn't working? I'm assuming some games are working, but not others. Try checking the compatibility list here:

While WBFS is an old format, it does still work - FAT32 is recommended because it's easier to work with on your PC, and it's required for GameCube games and most homebrew.

it may be that the game you are trying either isn't compatible, or needs some 'massaging' to work.

The games that does not work are: Harvest Moon Animal Parade, and The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword

ok, i tried formating it to a FAT32, but all of my games are .wbfs and usb loader gx wont read them.

You're probably running a really old USB Loader GX then

here's the build a lot of people are using right now, the main developer/maintainer Cyan has been away due to a computer issue- so GreyWolf has taken over for a while.

Moving on from that- you should probably post your syscheck and I'll help ya with setting up your cIOS's and getting your current USB drive working.

It's likely the reason you couldn't get some games to work is because of an outdated cIOS- rather than your drive being in WBFS format.

Ideally you should be running with some variant of D2X v10 with a base of IOS56 in slot 249, with an optional install of the same D2X v10 but with base 57 in slot 250.
