Hacking some AK2i questions

I might be getting a wi-fi connection soon

and I have a few questions about my AK2i just in case.

1. I know I should be updating to the 1.4.1 fix, so I am curious if I can just put the update file on my mSD like a normal file without it disturbing the rest of the mSD's contents.

2. Lately one of my mSD is having what seems to be contact problems with the card. So, can I use this for the update? Will it brick my card if it suddenly freezes in the middle of the update? Should I not use this mSD?

3. BTW, exactly what can I do about the mSD problems? Seems there is only a fix for slot-1 contact issues.

OK, uh, since no one replied to my questions I've already taken the risk and did the update. The whole mSD contact thing is more or less fix'd by cleaning the mSD contacts.

I don't suppose I can get the thread locked?
