Does anyone know what that is? It looks like an SD to GameCube memory card to me... so why's it called WiiKey adapter? The user reviews are saying it acts just like a WiiKey but no soldering needed... what's up with that?

Is that thing real? For $5 you can't go wrong... but if it's just gonna be a waste I'll avoid it.

I had already bought one of these- It is a wiikey-authorized SDgecko. Works great, but it's definitely not a wiikey.

I think that is for creating backups rather than playing backups [IMG]

I'm not sure what the reviews mean, but it seems to be an SDGecko clone (but with miniSD's)... though as homebrew uses the front SD slot now it isn't really necessary.

Oh, so that's just the thing that you use to make images of GameCube games?

That is for normal SD, they just show a Mini SD and adapter. So I guess that means the title is just misleading?

Actually it was released by the WiiKey clone makers. It's just an SDGecko with a WiiKey logo on the plastic housing. It has a standard SD slot on it, but of course it will work fine with mini and micro adapters.
