Hacking Software to read PS3 disc on a PC

I want to make backups of some of my PS3 games.
I have software to clone the games, but it can't read the disc.
Is there Software to read PS3 disc's on a PC?
What are they called?

You have a BD drive? Honestly you'd probably be better off FTPing the disk from the PS3 to your computer.

you can get 3k3y ripper and connect a ps3 drive to the 3k3y ripper.

It can read them but not play them. Just like how a dvd drive can read an xbox/xbox 360 disc but not play it.

well i guess it would, ps1 games were cds, we can rip on computers, ps2 was dvd, we can rip on computers, ps3 is bluray, i assume we can rip on computers.
wii and gc had a weird type of dvd and only some special dvd drives could read them.

Doesn't 360 ripping still require specific supported drives?

OP, I stand by my original suggestion of FTP the disc which will completely alleviate the issues of drive compatibility and encryption.

Yes, It's a LG Blu-ray drive

The Lite-On DH-401S can read PS3 discs. AFAIK it's the only drive that is able to do that.
