R61 gives me a black screen when i run it from 2nd time.
Must delte sd/softchip/default.cfg first every time.
i think it's a bug in loading cfg file.

I can't reproduce this here... What do you mean by 2nd time? After booting correctly the first one, you turn off the Wii and when you use SoftChip again it gives you a black screen? You have Silent Option enabled?

What IOS should I choose to run SoftChip r61 on?

Your IOS. There are so many out there that Requiem asked me to use 36 as default. Normally, you would use 249 with rev7.

After I choose IOS249 and pressed A, the wiimote blinks and on screen, nothing moves.
I have to turn of the wii...
Now after turning on again, run softchip r61 again, I'm stuck with a black screen.
to use it again, I have to delete the cfg file on the SD.....

Seems to be a problem with your IOS... But try changing the IOS without SD card. Please report the result.

yeah, this time i enabled silent mode before choosing the IOS.
That worked out good. nothing stucks now.
What does the silent mode do? did I overread something?

You mean disable it?

Silent Mode + AutoBoot Mode:
-> The normal AutoBoot method, nothing will be shown, the Menu appears by pressing 1.

Silent Mode (Without AutoBoot):
-> After pressing A to boot the game, Silent is activated, no info will be shown.

If an error occurs in both methods while loading the game, the Main Menu is shown and AutoBoot is disabled.

Sorry for my bad English.
I have all same problem with WiiShizzza but wiimote no response randomly after choosing IOS and press A.
There is no any problem before R59 & gamma.

r61 is working fine here :S maybe bad burn? or you chose a non-existent IOS. lol

I'm getting similar results as well... seems after I set the ios to 249 the menu just freezes after hitting a.... is it now fixed to the config file? So I reset the Wii and tried loading (MK Armageddon) on the 249...all my screen does after retrying the softchip is a a screen dump....

I am not much on reading these things... but I think it has something to do with that demodulation process again...damn you ARM!

It seems to load the usual compatibles fine without doing this dump... maybe I actually burned this one wrong this time?!

Will try it again on my new Sony burner.... crazy thing is... I picked up a 100 pack of DVD-r's for $10 at Circuit City during their black friday sale!

Fixed a little bug, please test r62, your problem could be fixed. And please test SoftChip without SD and report your results!
