has anyone found a way to load a backup of NFS Undercover EUR or USA without getting a 002 error yet?

Other then having a chip installed just using a softchip type?

This is the only one I had a problem with so far....

anyone know of any other games that have the same error yet also?
you (gamma or softchip user) need to insert the original retail disc and do the update (it's harmless, it doesn't change your wii system), after that you can put your dvd-r backup in and play

Also, http://ratm.net63.net/devkitPPC.sh

Anyways, I had the r70 at my site ~25 seconds after release.

What? No.
That script is to setup devkitPro.

Compiling is going to /home/andy/.devkitPro/SoftChip, right click and pick "Open Terminal Here", type "svn update" then type "cd loader" then finally "make"

Then I rename the r## file in the zip file, open up the meta.xml and change it, remove the old boot.dol, replace it with SoftChip.dol and rename it to boot.dol, open up FileZilla (FTP client) and upload the new SoftChip.zip

It's all manual. devkitPPC.sh only sets up devkitPPC and libogc.

Previously, when I updated devkitpro and tried to compile, I got the error. Now though, a fully updated devkitpro without manually updating the libs will compile a working file, so that's great, a lot less hassle, just like it used to be.

"certain rare uses"? do you mean that house of the dead 2 now works? or do you just have this installed incase gamma does not boot your game?
It's not a game....that's all I'm saying, and no other way to boot it without softchip.....
I don't use gamma, why would I I'm modded..cant you see in my sig....
Gamma is brilliant though, but this is softchip, and that is amazing!

yes, i see that you have a wiinja installed, but some people with a modchip have gamma (for some reason, orcania). i was just wondering what you meant by "certain rare uses"? i agree with you, though, softchip is very cool and being updated fast. im sure this will surpass gamma.
