There is a lot of homebrew games that release each month (vitadb).

Recently, there was 0syscall6, a plugin to just remove FOOD verification like reFOOD but works also for Skype,PSM... There's also PSVShell, a new plugin for overclocking with more options, a great gui, fixes...

There's also the bounties being worked on behind the scene (adrenaline at native res, HW acceleration support for Retroarch...) along with the port of linux being worked on aswell...

The vita scene is one of the if not the most active scene out there.

Simple enough. There isn't a single reason to stay on the latest firmware and downgrading is much easy to do. You can play games that require a newer FW using reFOOD / 0syscall6 and you can spoof for PSStore... Combine that with the fact that 3.60 is way much more stable than 3.72 for example. .

The recent firmwares are not supported due to the changes in newer hacking methods, the work it would require to make it work for all fws (3.60-3.65, 3.67-3.68, 3.69-3.70, 3.71-3.73) and the instabilities with newer fws.
