Hacking So my flashcard has a time bomb...

This is something I have been curious about for a while now. My flashcard has a time bomb on it and I was wondering if there was a more convenient way to circumvent the time bomb other than changing the date or would I be off getting another flashcard without a time bomb?

That depends. If you card can run YSMenu, then you might as well stick with that. If it can't, then either set the clock to 2000 or buy a new one. Personally, I use the R4i Gold 3DS +, which has had perfect compatibility with everything I've tried.
