Last year I modded my wii and burned a bunch of games and they all worked wii and cube but now for whatever reason the loaders no longer load any of my burnt games
So I went out an bought a portable 500 gb wd drive
I followed all the steps in this video
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-OvTstrcwE

Instead of usb loader he pointed to I installed usb loader gx

everything seems to work but the loader says 0 games

How do I get the games to show up I don't get it

Don't follow failtube. Use ModMii to set up a USB loader. You might want to rehack your Wii as well.

I didn't check that video, but usually when the loader is launched correctly but still see no games then it's caused by an incorrect folder name.

    Use WiiBackupManager
    - Go into the settings > FAT32/NTFS tab >
    - select Title_ or Title_[GameID] as the folder convention.
    - Check the checkbox saying "Automatically update storage convention when drive is mounted"
    - Click ok to accept and close the settings.

    - Go to HDD 1 tab.
    - Select your Drive letter in the list, and all the folders inside /WBFS/ folder will be renamed correctly in an instant.
    - Close the program and try the HDD again on your Wii.

If some games work, then your setup is correct.
then, the non working games have a great chance to be a bad dump.

    Dump them again.

Can I ask which games are not working? and "when" does it not work? at launch, after launch, in game, while playing, after selecting a menu, etc.

    Some games require special settings.

I don't think kirby return require any specific setting.
The two other I don't know them.

Maybe you really need a re-hack.
Or post a syscheck report so we can see what you have.

i have been busy not able to get to a computer sorry for not asking sooner
will using modmii wipe out my current wii mods?
I have emulators and have it so it plays wiiware directly off a sd card I'd like to keep those in place without having to reinstall anyhting
and can I use my external hd to install modmii or do I need an sd card?

    Nope, I don't think that's very usefull.
Google for syscheck +wii It should bring you to the correct program to make a syscheck.

usually, the guide I link is fine to make a syschek log.
It even give a URL at the end linking to a syscheck website log. (if you have wifi on your Wii)

Are you referring to the guide in my signature (same on Cyan linked to)? If so, then you are looking for the wrong file. It's not a text file, it's a .csv file.

USB Loader GX is about the worst there is.

    Configurable USB Loader FTW!

    What

You really should try it before making comments, cfg was all but dead, it is now being modded but still needs improvements to even equal the features on the latest GX. Compatibility is about the same!

not every dump I have is bad but nothing but family game night 1 and dead rising is working
if I rehack using modmii can I use the hard drive to do it and will it erase my current emulators and wiiware games? I happen to like being able to play the wiiware games straight from the sd card

i don't understand how none of the games just don't work when they did when i first burned them. I could could see new games not working but older ones should all still work

    is this the right report?
