That's intented behavior.

Let's say you get an auto save, but you save another sram file. If you want to load last one, game needs to be restarted, because auto save was loaded first.

But the game starts from scratch again, the saved progress is gone. :(

It works! I updated cIOS dx2 to v10 beta-something.
