Homebrew SNES file list.

So I am getting into the emulator scene and I was looking through some files and I acquired Donkey Kong Country , buts its filetype is ".fig" and I am wondering if it is safe. I am a little afraid to open it and secondly will SNEmulDS v.06 play this file?

Try renaming it to .smc.

I downloaded Super Metroid and it has a weird filename. Renaming it works fine.

even i had 2-3 snes files tat were .fig. Worked out fine for me.
On the PC SNES Emulator. Didnt try on the DS

.fig and .smc are the same, it just means one was dumped using a ProFighter and one was dumped using a Magicom/Wildcard.

Donkey Kong country works pretty well on SNEmulDS too.

A couple of levels are messed up due to the layering and general unfinished bits. I think any levels with darkness like stop'n'go station don't work properly, you can complete it though, you just need to mess with the settings for some levels.

Has anyone managed to run Metal Max Returns, English translation (patch can be found here: http://agtp.romhack.net/)
on SnemulDS? Or any other emulator?

It looks awesome, I'm dying to play this game but can't get it to run on my DS... :'(

Hopefully in the next version of this emulator?
