Alright. I recently downloaded an NES and SNES emulator for my R4i 3DS Gold, and they work fine for the most part, but I have experienced a few problems.

Now, I know the emulation will never be as good as a DSTWO, but I recently tried to play Chrono Trigger, and the music was butchered. It sounded like robotic screeches, if that makes sense.

Is this because of the emulator, Rom or simply the flashcart itself?

Also, why can't R4i's emulate the SNES without problems? I'm guessing because it wasn't built around SNES emulation, but I don't see how the DS is easier to emulate.

A flashcart loads the games as if they were actual DS games because they are. The SNES is a completely different console on different hardware. The DSTWO has its own CPU so emulating is easier but still not that great. Hope you get it now.
