So I've pimped my snes classic to be able to play Secret of Evermore. I've put the 2 player rom on it. Problem is that there is a game breaking bug in this version. I've put another ROM on it of the game but I'd like to transfer my save games... Anyone can help me how to transfer the saved game (I have both the in game saving system and the new classic UI save game with the holding of Y on it). to the new rom?

From what I understood, here's what you have to do: Extract the save with hakchi2, rename the extension to .tar.gz, extract the save ram file , open it with HxD and copy and paste the entire data minus the the final line (which is the hash) to a separate file, and save it with a .srm extension. Test it in an emulator to see if it works. If it does, then use this tool to convert it back to .clvs and import it back with hakchi2. Hopefully it should work with the new ROM.
