Hacking SNEEK v2

when i run the .bat programs, it seems to come up awith a lot of errors before completing.. any idea why and how to fix it?

Did you download the source for SNEEK? Do you have Python installed? Did you put stuff in the right directories?

i was able to compile before, older revisions when they existed, but when i went to do these latest updates , the compiler window kept spititng out errors and apparently isnt working right b/c it black screens on the wii when it worked fine with the older revisions

I hope Crediar get it works with newer wiis, i try r16, r27, r33 (with/without di module) and always black screen. With r33 i get black screen with NO SIGNAL and with below revisions i get only black screen :S

From what I saw on a very brief look there are only warnings, no errors. Warnings are OK.

same here just run the batch file myself and get the same warnings but both sneek and sneekDI compile and work for me

yet i get black screened on load when i didnt before.. and none of the support ideas of how to fix it, fix it..

Only thing I could say is get someone to compile it for you and test that version if that works then there's something wrong with python or devkitpro

No it is not, it has bootmii installed on boot2 and works with previous version. I get same warnings as GolfDude when I first compile it and bellow is a screen after 2nd compile of same source. Bellow pic of 2nd compile atempt shows no errors or warnings but still does not work, getting a black screen. Any idea? Thankyou.

If you're using the DI module you must have the default game set up. I guess you don't and that's why you are getting the black screens.

Has he replaced the Home Menu in the SM with that little selector app or am I being stupid?

when you talk about that, and say you need part.bin, do you mean partition.bin b/c i cant find a part.bin on any of my discs, all teh otehr files needed i find..

Right click on the partition itself. Extract -> Unencrypted (or something along those lines)

no, sneek is actually writing to the framebuffer of the system menu. so the system menu is still running, but its video output is being hijacked and altered by sneek to show this menu.
