IMPORTANT TO Sneek IOS/Startpatch Users

Its seems Sneek IOS install will be using IOS250, The newest StartPatch also uses IOS250, I didn't really notice this until today, Anyways I've tested What would happen if you have Sneek Installed to IOS250 and then try to load Startpatch, Well as figured it will load Sneek instead.lol This is not a big problem but i though it would be best to warn people before hand.
Its still safe to install the Startpatch hacks before installing Sneek, Then you can use Startpatch to load Sneek. This is not a big problem but just remember StartPatch is Open Source feel free to edit the Source to load off of a different IOS if you choose to
Thanks

Just a DVT Reader or something
It's an "RVT-R" reader

I still wonder what's different about those discs...Either way, discs don't matter with USB loading.

The key used for encryption is one thing different I imagine

I've been racking brains about this for a bit. Does anybody have some kind of guide that outlines the step by step process of getting SNEEK on your Wii. I have no idea how to follow the instructions in the read me file. I am familiar with Wii hacking but not with modifying TitleID or Nand backups.

Seconded I'd love a little help here getting going

NReale, it's amazing how mysterious this entire process is... It seems like you have to be a coder or have connections with the Wiibrew community in order to figure all this out... I'm sure a youtube video will be posted soon... errr i hope!

250 is also installed as a backup by Waninkoko's cIOS Installer. Maybe both apps should consider placing theirs elsewhere.

I thought SNEEK doesn't install any IOS to nand, let alone IOS250... because it runs through bootmii... I thought the IOS is just stored and run from SD...

Please confirm?...

Correct, OSW.. SNEEK does NOT install itself in any way!!!

The modified IOS60/250 is placed on the SD card and a routine in armboot.bin is used to boot the created boot2.bin, which will then point to SD and not the Wii NAND.
EDIT: Except for the NON-Bootmii as boot2 install, which requires a wad install (missed that before)

At least, that's how i've experienced it.
The whole process has NOTHING to do with the NAND on your Wii, ONLY with the NAND on SD.

EDIT: I missed that one line as well, i guess. Shouldn't it be made possible to install SNEEK as another IOS then?

There's besides the bootv2 install a .wad-Install. See the original v1 NFO:
IOS-Only-Install:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Modifying IOS60

-remove the SD module entry from the TMD and reduce the content count by one

-change the TitleID within the TMD and the ticket to 00000001-000000FA

Create the 0000000e.app

-run the following commands

(Note: if you want you can use the ES or the FS module without the other,

simply do "elfins.exe 0000000e.app")

elfins.exe esmodule.elf 0000000e tmp.bin

elfins.exe fsmodule.elf tmp.bin 0000000e.app

Creating and installing the SNEEK.wad

When running SNEEK via the IOS-Install you have to install it via a .wad

there are many tutorials on the net on how to create a wad and how to install them
I would say we all should wait until v2, and see if something changes. And as far as I know, IOS250 can't be overwritten, because it has the highest Version number possible (therefore it survived the Update from Ninty)...so...why should it be possible here?
