Have you tried one of the newer revisions 97 or 98 you just press 1 for the menu and then B for the second menu for region try changing the region to USA and the video mode patch to on save the settings and power down and power up check the settings in the DI menu and try the game again

had that problem with Trauma Team(NTSC) on my PAL wii had to just change the video mode patch to on and it worked a treat sometimes it just takes a little fiddling with the settings to get the games to work sometimes it's cause it's a bad rip or the disk has been patched like my copy of 007Quantum got another copy and works sweet

try creating the virgin nand on sd card and then transferring it to usb and using uneek

It didn't work. I can't create the virgin nand on the SD card.

Any other tips?

Simply use Simple FS Dumper it works better. Tested on my wii all is ok (FSDumper doesn't work and give Failed SU / ES Identity error). Simple FSD give error too but keep dumping and all is ok.

Sneek work perfect with Simple FSDumper dump. So forget the FSDumper !

I have use showmiiwads and nandextractor to extract a bootmii nand dump and also used SFSD and all these apps work for creating a suitable nand for sneek

The thing you've got to remember is to remove pre/priiloader from the nand most of my nands with priiloader installed won't boot and give me black screen with sneek_DI

I've never really used sneek_usb or normal sneek_sd but all should be the same they have hacks in the compiled code for region free gaming

The options menu doesn't appear to be saving anything on my NTSC Wii, even in build 99.

In order to get games to boot, I had to open diconfig.bin in a hex editor and change the 02 a few bytes into the file (near the beginning, but not quite sure where because I did it an hour ago) to a 01.

Then NTSC games will boot.

ok, now i seem to have sneek+di up and running after changing my region settings to USA.
i get the disc in at boot, change it to a selected game by using the wiimote then can boot the game (NSMB (pal))
however, when booted and created a save for the first time, it flashes "the disc could not be read" then flashes "insert disc" then back to "the disc could not be read" and sit on it.
i just assume this is because it needs patching or something... but not too sure.

anyone who can confirm or deny this for me would be great... gonna try wii sports (pal) now instead.

EDIT: wtf... wii sports (pal) black screens (disconnects wiimote too) with the same settings...
PS: setting wii to eur causes games not to load/be seen by sneek

SNEEK+DI work perfect for me now.

All game are 100% complete now (no need of alt dol)...

...and at least I CAN PLAY MPT (METROID PRIME TRILOGY) without alt dol !!! I can choose normal mode (not the evil veteran) and I can launch multiplayers. It runs fine.

But I need help for these 3 points :

1) I wonder if we can boot faster with using bootmii "boot2" instead of the nintendo warning screen on start.

2) I also wonder if we can force nand on USB and still using DI ???

3) Where can I get a tutorial to merge source for Puneek and to compile this ?

Thanx to the community for this great hack. SNEEK is the best way in wii hacking. And it s more safe cause minimal requirement is needed on your real nand.

My real nand is 4.1 with bootmii only.
My emulated nand on Sneek is 4.2E and 100% working games and VM and WW

It s so great !!!!

It seems people are confused by the region settings so I say it nice and clear:

The region must match your System menu's region, NOT the region of the game you want to play!!

same here, I also noticed it's best to connect to the USB drive after you launch Bootmii/SNEEK

sometimes the hard disk will become corrupt and you will have to shut it down and restart it.

ok, those people who have "All game are 100% complete now (no need of alt dol)..." are you trying to play games from other regions...?

im gonna try a EUR installation of the system menu and try it all again.
having issues with games not loading atm.

Puneek is the only way that I know of to do USB-NAND + DI. In the USB_loader_Gx(s) thread, someone made a diff file of the changes between the original source and the Puneek source. However, Puneek is based on something like r76 or so, and I at least wasn't able to get the changes to work in r80, though admittedly my knowledge of things isn't that great. As far as I know, nobody has gotten it working based on newer revisions (which would be nice, since Trauma Team for example wasn't working for me with the older revisions). Also, I personally (and at least one other person does as well) get an issue where if I have more than 37 or 38 games on the drive, I get duplicate listings, so I just decided to go back to the regular SNEEK+DI.

Thanx for your help. So this it is impossible for new to use my USB apps in HBC when using SNEEK+DI.

I was thinking that only SD is disable due to the fact that it is use for NAND access (SNEEK+DI, I don't use UNEEK) BUT WHY the hell USB drive is also disable for HBC and for USB loader (for using my FSWB partition as without SNEEK).

Can't we have USB drive enabled in HBC and USBLOADER (GX/CFG/Wiiflow) under SNEEK ?

Cause seems that it is hopeless to merge Puneek source with the latest Sneek code version...(according to the last posts I read on many forum) all Puneek work is lost !

hey any of you guys having a problem with the new di ? I can not get it to work! i have been at it all day today. i know i am kinda retarded at this stuff but if one of you fine gentlemen would please help me out. i would much appreciate it. my problem is as follows sneek r100 is writing the diconfig.bin but icant not open it with a hex editor. it tells me that there was a problem opening the file. so my question is am i using the wrong kind of hex editor or do i need a new one? i am using xvi32.exe . i have never been able to get sneek+di to work yet. i can use sneek sd uneek and puneek fine but sneek+di just hates me i have decided. any help at all would be great. thanks in advance.

For some reason, xvi didn't work for me unless I moved the file to the same drive that the xvi.exe was located on. If you move diconfig.bin to your C: drive, it should open. Then move it back and overwrite it on your USB drive.

it still will not open and i think i am going to go crazy here. this is just bugging the hell out of me

edit: finally got it to open. told you i was retarded sometimes but editing it still doesnt boot up. i am using sneek installer the new one with di and nothing but black screen any suggestions?

this is what my diconfig file says in the hex editor 0000000100000100000000023755 then goes on to list the games by there number letter combination's. could it be that i am using a sdhc card for my nand? also i have a verbatim 250gig hd for my games and my puneek nand is on there too.

this is what the diconfig looks like just in windows notepad if that helps. please help me if you can??
