-Enabled screen shot feature, press B+2 on first wiimote and it will create a RAW capture of the frame buffer (See tool on google code for converting to .bmp)

Anyone tried this yet ?

well xflac been a long time since i added darkwii theme to my nand and i sure love it

... but this darkredwii theme has me wanting to try it too

so i looked through my guides on pc and found nothing .... must be on another HDD in a .txt somewhere so i decided to google and here is my result :

Do I need UNEEK/DI to launch homebrew apps from SNEEK or is SNEEK only sufficient?

Edit: I installed SNEEK only on my SD Card and launched the HBC, but then it brought me to the HackMii Installer Scam notice instead in to the HBC menu

Never mind, I installed an old version of the HBC and it works. Dont know if SNEEK has some problems with the latest Homebrew Channel.

Not working for me either. I compiled r127 and pressed B+2, but it doesnt work, there's no RAW capture.

It works, just don't expect it to work with every game. By that I mean a .raw file will always be created, but might be garbage. If you're finding it's not writing any .raw files to root, try holding one button, then pressing the other. A warning however, this revision breaks homebrew the same way r114 did. As for HBCv8,
I've talked to the hackmii guys and they are "blocking" sneek
that's why 1.0.8 doesn't work

Thanks for your explamation. Why the heck are Team Twiizers blocking SNEEK?? I thought crediar and bushing are buddies.
As far as the screen shot feature concernes, it's not seeming to work for me no matter what buttons I press and how. Is the screen shot function only working with games or also with the system menu?

I just compiled revision 128 of UNEEK, and for the most part, it seems to work fine. The only problem was when I tried to use the armboot.bin that I compiled, nothing was trying to load from the USB device. I went back to revision 125 of armboot.bin, which I got off of the SNEEK page, and UNEEK+DI would then load. It seems to have taken some screenshots as well.

Probably a stupid question, but how do I use the " YCbYCr2BMP" program to convert the RAW files to BMP? I tried dragging the RAW files to it, but it doesn't do anything. I'm guessing that I might have to type something into the command prompt, but I don't know.

open comand prompt drag the ycbycr2bmp.exe in to the command prompt ... hit enter in command prompt window ... it will tell the tale

personaly i like the right click 'open cmdprompt' feature of w7ndows , i had to download said fesature for xp from google.

see? so drag ycbycr2bmp.exe into the cmdprompt window then drag the raw image then name the output... i drag the same raw file a second time and backspace over the raw images name and call it new.bmp or whatevr you like

a real nice guy even wrote a .bat file for me so i could convert multiple images easily .. thanks for that.

try r130 (i'm compiling it. i don't really know if it works). i think the only disadvantage is that you need to press home + 2 to take the screenshot now, but you can always change the code.

Thanks for the explanation. I seem to have problems with pressing HOME + 2, and taking screenshots on Super Smash Brothers Brawl. The 2 button will press an option on the screen right before the home menu comes up. However, the screenshot feature seems to work pretty good.

One more question, but can the screenshot feature work on the System Menu as well, or is it just for games? It didn't save any of the System Menu screenshots that I tried to take.

damn it, the screen shot function is just not working. i compiled r130, formated my sd card with 32 kb cluster size, made a new nand backup and pressed 2 + home, home + 2, but it doesnt work. there's no raw capture

so much time wasted..

oh i tried the screen shot function only on the system menu. it seems that the function is only working on games.

ps: can someone who managed to get this working send me his/her sneek files via pm?

a few infos about the screen shot feature

1. it only works in games
2. screen shots are stored on your USB device when using UNEEK! ( on SD with SNEEK)
3. best way is to hold 2 and then press home

nah , i bet they are afraid that sneek users will get 'tuned' into HBC ... or they would have spent time blocking usbloaders instead... imo

well some games take snapshots great some dont ... i cant get 1 picture on NBA jam , but i have no problem with the spiderman game and taking pictures ... any1 else get snaps of NBA jam?

I think I understand, so for example... when SNEEK calls IOS9, IOS9 is loaded but then IOS9 immediately reloads to IOS35, and if IOS9 isn't installed to the emulated nand when it is called, SNEEK will not be able to redirect IOS9 calls to use IOS35. Is this correct?

I'm sure there are more details and whats going on is slightly more complicated than I've made it sound... but for the most part, is that about right?

So full nand dumps should still include all active IOSs even if they are
