Important! This project is no longer supported nor updated!

I just read this at SNEEK's svn repository: http://code.google.com/p/sneek/
What is going on? Why did crediar quit SNEEK?

Regardless of the reasons, there has also been a link for donations posted, which makes me believe that he might be in some kind of money trouble or something

its probably at where it needs to be, he's probably tired of the bs that goes on.

as far as i knew sneek/uneek is basically perfect. there may be some small bugs, but it does its job and it does it well.

farewell sneek, i hardly knew ye.

Yeah, I only used UNEEK but it worked great on VC WIIWARE Titles, but again so does Mighty Channels hm... Still Were not expected to see many problems since it's just emulating itself as stated above.

Thanks for you work crediar

Regardless whether it is dead or not (hopefully it is a temporary break or pause),
it has been very useful for me (allow me to learn a lot of things about Wii). Many thanks to crediar for his
amazing achievements. And I am always looking forward to his next project or enhancement work.

I am glad that there is the donation button now, I will chip-in when I get visa gift card from my family tomorrow.

Sadly I can no longer work on any homebrew, cause I don't have time for that anymore, dml is sadly not in a release-ready form ...
Well guys, that's it for now

This is sad news and I hope that things get better for crediar if he is in any kind of financial trouble.

He has taken breaks from his projects in the past - hopefully things will get better for him and he'll have some more time for homebrew.

Thanks again crediar for your amazing contributions to wii homebrew

I'm sad for the now exploit but you did a great job in this year and we thank you for this

Good Luck

The source code is still available, and was updated last only around a week ago. If he did quit it completely, it's not as if he's leaving the community with nothing to go on.

The Wii is the most successful homebrew scene ever. Everything that the Wii could possibly do with its hardware has been done. (Besides a GC SD Loader, which has been done but not perfected)
The Wii U is coming around, we can look forward to the hacking then.
