I saw that , but how can I edit that flag ? I have no idea how to edit the save outside of what the editor does

ED: I managed to get to the hex part but the aogami program doesnt load back the encrypted data even when it has just created it

ED2: Used the encrypt bat from the other program and with the help of the save with dlc disabled from that doc I put the address to 00 like that save , it still doesnt work ,so maybe some other flag is the problem :/

tbh I have a really bad feeling the feeling that your save might be corrupted :( save files don't tend to suddenly stop loading, there's a reason behind it generally

the save loads on the save editor with the correct info. Also 2 saves were affected , I dont think it's corruption but more like the game when it detected dlc was disabled it messed up the dlc saves in some way . I have already started to push from an earlier save and backing them up every day , but stiull had some faith to fix the older save

just checking up on how things going with updating Aogami Vengeance considering you never replied to my last message
Sorry for the very late reply. Yeah. I really cant seem to replicate it on my end. It should be applying the changes to your save. Only thing I can think of is that you are not applying the changes to your save. Can you try applying the changes and then reloading the save in Aogami?

I dont think it should mess up the save. I was able to load one of the saves from a user in this thread that had dlc on it by just changing the hex value for the dlc address. I can only think that you have an ongoing dlc quest in your save which might be what's causing the error but i cant test that.

+1 actually searching a way myself , i'm right before enter the throne and i want to be neutral on vengeance.
Could probably code that in. Dont have the addresses related to alignment so cant work on it.

Is it really possible to change the innate skill? Not working to me.
I tried to change the default magatsuhi spring to divinity decree, but never worked.
What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: nvm, I used Qadištu Save Editor to do that and worked

Sorry for late reply. What red error? What were you planning to edit in your save?

Hello guys, is there any way to restore the save data? Game just can't see it and shows me an empty slot. But the file still there. Switch version (modded console)

Its possible. From my experience, the save vanishing ingame means its a checksum mismatch. Try regenerating the save's checksum using the save util

Probably already been asked but can you use it to summon boss tsukuyomi (and other non summonable bosses) I ask bc there's currently no mod that I could find that let's me have that version of tsukuyomi in my party :(

Hi, is Aogami still being updated? I noticed that a few unplayable bosses (Yakumo, Nahobino Tsukuyomi, etc) are still missing from the demon list. In addition, the skill list seems to not have any boss exclusive skills. I also noticed that the skill changes I attempted to make weren't reflected in-game. Granted, I did attempt to give a unique ability to a character that neither should have it nor should exist (Heavenly Counter to a Matter Lucifer), so I don't know if it could be part of the issue. I can't get this save editor to work properly, so I'm hoping Aogami can help me with these issues. For reference, I'm playing on a PS4 and I have access to Save Wizard. If there are any solutions to what I'm seeking that can be done using this tool/hex editing, I'd also appreciate some insights on how to get started. Thanks in advance for any help.

What are the dependencies for your save editor? I have the latest .NET 6.0 (v6.0.32) and 8.0 (v8.0.7) runtimes. However, I have never been able to open a save file in your editor, though they do open and can be edited in Aogami. It starts fine if I remove the path in the default file, and even says "loaded save" when I open an encrypted save. However, the Player Data tab remains blank, and attempting to switch to the Demon tab gives me the following error:

Hey I've been trying to use the save editor but it seems that the skills.txt file is missing. Any one got a link for it?

Hey,
i have the exact same problem. What do you mean with that? I have the save util exe and put it onto the file. Should it change something? I would really appreciate an answer :(

Out of curiosity, how possible is it to import an existing save file from NSW/Steam to the PS4 copy? I've checked my existing saves as well as the one to be imported on the save editors and they are all working fine. Seems like there's only an issue when I attempted replacing my save and the game doesn't recognise it anymore.

EDIT: I have worked it out and the NSW save works perfectly on the PS4 via Apollo! It appears my issue was a result of DLC mismatch, which can be resolved using another save editor named Kadishutu.

Your issues may have been the same as mine (showing an empty slot). I recommend trying out the save editor I mentioned above (should be searchable with Google) and verifying if the save's DLCs matches your current game copy's.

wdym? Save_util.exe only decrypts/encrypts the save. The encryption part handles the generation of the new checksum so unless you messed up somewhere, the save should stay visible to the game

I should pin the ps4 process cause iirc this has been asked alot in this thread.

I'm trying to load a Switch save file to my newly purchased Steam version of SMTV, but save won't load because of installed DLC. I bought all Steam DLC, but the "Two Sacred Treasure sets" DLC that is embedded in my Switch saves is what I'm guessing the problem is. Can your tool help my instance, or can you point my somewhere to get some help please? Don't wanna hijack yer thread, just looking anywhere for help and can't find any mention of my problem anywhere...

Sure. just so that I understood your issue, your save can't load due to the dlc install differences? I dont remember if I modified the dlc address for my fork of the aogami save editor but if you are fine with doing it manually I can list the steps here:

step 1: get a hex editing program (ex. HxD, Wxmedit, notepad++ with hex plugin, etc)

step 2: download the modified save tool from my fork here

step 3: shift+right click in the directory where the save tool exe is and open powershell and run this command
Code:
./smtv.saveutil.exe -i "C:\ExampleLocation\GameSaveXX"
This code also works with cmd just need to remove the
Code:
./
Don't close the power shell just yet.

step 4: if it was successful, a message should have posted that it decrypted the save. Open the save directory and you should see "GameSaveXX_dec". open it using the editor you downloaded from step 1.

step 5: Go to this address in the save 0x0529. Here is an example image for comparison:

Step 6: change the value to "0" then save.

Step 7: Go back to the powershell window and run this command
Code:
./smtv.saveutil.exe -i "c:\ExampleLocation\GameSaveXX_dec" -o GameSaveXX
This should encrypt the save with your changes and should now work ingame as if it had no dlc.

Author of Qadištu save editor here.
The actual fix would be disabling bit 7 in 0x529.
I can't post links to my docs (since I just made this account), but it's there if you need more info.

EDIT:
I'm an idot and I can't read. I read the 0 and treated it as a different address.
Yeah, this should work.
