ROM Hack [SMM 3DS] Need help unlocking items

So a while ago, I got SMM for my 2DS (not XL) and was pretty disappointed that you have to unlock all the items with the challenge mode. Long story short, I got to world 8, lost all my progress, yada yada yada. I'm looking for a way, any way imaginable, to unlock all the items without doing the challenge mode. (I also tried cheats, but for some reason, they just aren't doing anything.) Some helpful info; I do have CFW (Luma3DS).

Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)
