Hardware SMG HAS PROBLEMS!

Hey guys, I have a US wii with latest firmware and wiikey. I d/led SMG with Wiikey 1.9g. I upgraded my wiikey to 1.9g. Put in SMG. I updated the Wii firmware for the game to run and I got the Error#001 black screen. I reinstalled the wiikey update and it didnt work. SMG was burned properly.

Whats the problem

The Wiikey update requires two stages, the first stage is the test phase, if that's successful then it does the real update. Are you sure you did the update completely?

Failing that it's possible you don't have a wiikey

Nope genuine with sticker bought from modchipstore who is an official seller

Regardless of whether it is genuine or not - did you finish the 1.9g upgrade? It has to go through the progression bar to 100% two times. The first is just a test, the second is the actual update. When you hear Homer, you know it's complete.

Does your TV get easily offended? That might have been the problem with the update.

misleading topic title....you have the problem...smg doesn't....and like lazycus said, did you make sure it it actually flashed and didn't just test?
