Hacking Smash DLC (+updates) on SDCard?

Since it looks like the Wii U is encrypted now, I wondered if it is possible to play Smash (retail) with Updates on the SDCard, because my HDD is really shitty and decided a few month ago to just don't work anymore when it comes to Smash (yes I have a Y-USB Adapter).
