I've already seen this one, is this really the only way? It's pretty old and apparantly you need gateway, which I doubt you need now.

Well you can use this tutorial. It's still the same method but without Gateway.

The gateway part is dumping the roms. But you can do that on HackingToolKit3DS(for extracting) and CFW(for dumping)

Funny enough, I downloaded it already thinking it'd be that, and it was. It's your only option when your SD card isn't big enough to dump the game

Texture? I think you got it wrong, buddy. You mean models right? There's no way we can ever port something with that many polys. Try to find a low poly model you want, like the Hyrule Warriors Legends models lol

It's better if its Melee Young Link Model instead of SFM Link Model.
Besides, smb123w64gb tried recreating Melee Dorf. So it's just like that.

In his twitter, he preview Melee Dorf coming to the 3DS.

SFM is Source Film Maker. The official TF2 animations are coming from that program.

I just downloaded them from that one guy who posted the smash 3DS files a page or so back. (I forgot his name, i'll go check and edit this post when I find it)

Yeah, that's true. I'm just saying that he shouldn't have linked it on GBATemp, as the Mods will take it down due to it being copyrighted material. Instead, he should've just made a post offering to PM the link to everyone. That way, it won't be taken down. That's all I meant by it, XD

if smash has extra costume slots how do i obtain them? do i just rename the files to that of the extra slots?
