Hacking Emulation SM64 WiiU Port Local Multiplayer Split Screen

Is there anyway to patch/mod/hack the SM64 Wii U port to play some Local Multiplayer split screen? Is this something easy to do given how cracked this game already is? Thanks!

Not that easy with the actual Wii U emulator it uses.
This should be easier to use one of the forks from the decompilation project and compile a split-screen modified one for the Wii U.
I said easier, but you still need to perhaps back port the effort of one repo for the sm64-splitscreen coop mods like https://github.com/djoslin0/sm64ex-coop to the effort on making a Wii U port like https://github.com/AloUltraExt/sm64ex-alo or https://github.com/aboood40091/sm64-port https://gbatemp.net/threads/super-mario-64-port-wii-u.571682/

I've suggested before how great it would be to take the splitscreen multiplayer patch to the Wii U Mario 64 decomp, but instead of proper splitscreen, separating the Displays so one player gets the full TV and the other gets the Gamepad.

I would think with the decomp this should be possible, but I know, so much easier said than done.

Nobody made one for it. You are welcome to start developing it if you can locate the source of the port.

If you can, please look into changing the splitscreen setup to instead have one player have the TV as their screen, and the other gets the Gamepad as theirs!
