Hardware slow syncing controller

My controller are taking upwards of 10-20 seconds to link to my 360, and sometimes it only takes 5 seconds..anyone has the same problem? this is normal?
this happen when i turn off the controller and turn on again..and the same happens with my guitar hero guitar..

Might be that you have to much interference from other 2.4 Ghz RF devices.

i have a wireless router..but with my old xbox this didnt happen i think..

Have you tried another controller then?

yep, i tried another one..
its a xbox slim..

Sounds like an faulty RF board.

You could send in your 360 to have it repaired but if it still works it's not worth it.

oh, i tried to turn on the controller near to the xbox and only takes 3 seconds to sync...

Strange..
Well at least it's not broken so you should be fine.

My controller syncs within 5 seconds (running console) and connects before the dash is loaded (cold booting)

mine is random (running console) i turn the controller off and on sometimes takes 3/5 seconds and other times takes 10/16 seconds (controller light flashes about 7/8 times)

That sounds like a interference issue, or something similiar. If the xbox is very far see if you can place it closer, higher, away from other electronics (unplugging dvd players and other nearby devices along with wireless devices) to see if they are causing the issue. If you have only gotten it a week ago see if you can have it exchanged at the place you bought it from if its not too late.

yea, i will try with the router, tv, phoe turned off
yea, but the problem is that i bought the console in a online shop..



p.s. tried right now and seems to happen less frequently..
