I go sucked into Skylander because of all the Black Friday deals running, so now I'm on the hunt "to collect them all". I found a list of all of the characters on another site and have amended to it. Anyone care to add any insight to this list (before I spend much more money on the figures). Also I heard the next release date for figures is Dec. 4?

Ok, so as I dig deeper into this, it looks like Hex, Dino-Rang and Wrecking Ball have only been released in the UK? Is that correct or are they just THAT rare in the states?

Ugh, yes. HOWEVER, the Black Friday deals pretty much covered nearly all of them (granted, still a lot of money for a game). It's only a few characters that I can't find and am not clear on if they are even availabile.

holy shit, that is alot of money for just one game. they better use the toys in another 2/3 games, if they dont i can see alot of people not bothering with them.

BUT good luck :D! hope you get a full list of all of them (and if possible, the lowest price for them?)

What's inside the toy that lets it know which toy is on the base?

Terrafin - Adventure pack available at Toys R Us and Walmart $19.97
Bash - Single pack at Walmart $7.97+gst
Chop Chop - Single pack at Walmart $7.97+gst
Dino Rang - 3 pack at Toys R Us $19.99+gst
Hex - 3 pack at Toys R Us (Also saw single at Walmart) $19.99+gst
Zap - 3 pack at Toys R Us (Also saw single at Walmart) $19.99+gst
FlameSlinger - Single at Toys R Us $7.99+gst
Stealth Elf - 3 pack at Toys R Us (Saw single pack at Toys R Us and Walmart) $19.99+gst
Sonic Boom - 3 pack at Toys R Us (Saw single pack at Toys R Us and Walmart) $19.99+gst
Wrecking Ball - 3 pack at Toys R Us (Saw single pack at Toys R Us and Walmart) $19.99+gst
Eruptor - Single pack at Toys R Us (saw single pack at Walmart) $7.99+gst

Spyro, Trigger Happy, Gill Grunt (3 pack starter set for PC) (Purchased at Toys R Us, also saw at Walmart). $59.99+gst

This is just a list from where I purchased all my figures. They may be unavailable in other areas, or currently sold out (I had to go to 2 Toys R Us and 2 Walmart locations.) All Figures were purchased between Dec 1 and Dec 4, 2011. Hope this helps.

    Hi Nitelite,

I updated my list (see first post). I finally figured it all out (took me a while). Not sure on the availablity in Canada, but I would guess it's the same. Happy hunting!

P.S. I haven't even turned the damn game on yet, I'm too busy with Skyward Sword.

There is an ocarina code out there that model swaps the "gate"
But seriously, this isn't a spyro game anymore...

We bought this game for my son for Xmas and I have to admit we've both been hooked on it. Having at least one of each lement is essential to complete all the game missions (e.g. Collect the treasure chests, legendary treasure, hats, scrolls as well as explore all areas which requires a certain character from a certain element to open the gateway to the other areas).
LOL, have you ever played a MMORPG. I played Ultima Online for a little over 7 years at £8.99 a month (total of around £755/$1175) and at the moment I am into my 3rd year of World of Warcraft at £8.99 a month (around £323/$503) as well so in total I've spent over £1000/$1600 on just 2 games. So Even collecting all the characters for this game is going to be cheaper, plus you have at least a physical item to show for your money.

They contain an RFID tag inside each character that holds the information transmitted by the portal/base station.

Why would anyone be so obsessed with this to collect EVERY SINGLE FIGURE?

Does the game give you some UBERAWESOMESEXYPWNAGEBONUS for using them all?

Or is it for a collector's purpose?

    Whattt?

Yes, chaosdarkneo, it's a collectors thing. With the exception of mission packs (think of it as DLC), there is no purpose. It's not for everyone. Resume gaming as you do friend :)
